Bitcoin continues its positive performance in 2023, as the price of the world’s largest cryptocurrency is up nearly 38% since the beginning of January.
On Saturday, Bitcoin rose above $23,000 for the first time since August 18, 2022.
This came before the price of Bitcoin declined slightly in today’s trading, rising by only 9.22% to 22906 in the last 24 hours ending at 11:45 am GMT.
Bitcoin has risen 10.7% over the past week, according to CoinMarketCap data.
And the market value of Bitcoin increased to $ 441.4 billion, compared to $ 403 billion the previous day, an increase of more than $ 38 billion.
The rally so far comes on the heels of a negative 2022 for the industry, which saw major bankruptcies and scandals in the cryptocurrency industry, including the collapse of FTX, and a sharp decline in the broader market linked to central bank actions.
